Ready Your Pet For Emergencies

Heat And Pets
As you enjoy the Florida sunshine, remember that your pets are wearing a fur coat that they can't take off. Leaving a pet in a parked car even for a few moments is not only cruel and dangerous, it's also illegal. It is easy to get distracted and forget about the pet until it is too late. Keep your pets cool on hot days. Make sure that they have plenty of water. Keep them in shaded areas or indoors with a/c on hot days. Look out for signs of heatstroke which are intense, rapid panting, wide eyes, salivating, staggering and weakness. Seek immediate professional care if your pet exhibits these symptoms.
