The Beef With Bones

All bones such as chicken, pork or steak bones are very dangerous when ingested by dogs and cats. Ingesting bones can cause intestinal perforation which can lead to fatal infection. These incidents are very common. The major signs of intestinal perforation are vomiting, diarrhea and blood in the stool. In case this happens to your animal call your veterinarian immediately. Rawhide bones or nylon products made for especially for pets are safe chew toys.
